Newsletter FAQ

This is Simmer’s official newsletter. It is authored by Simo Ahava, and contains exclusive tips and content around things like Google Tag Manageronline analyticsweb development, and other technical marketing topics.

The newsletter will also be the first place for information about Simmer courses, often containing exclusive discounts and offers for subscribers.

Good question!

There are millions of newsletters and millions of online courses out there. We’re not going to promise you something groundbreaking or revolutionary, we’re not trying to get you to abandon the platforms and personalities you’ve come to love over the years, and we certainly don’t want you to subscribe to something that you don’t find interesting.

What we can promise you is extremely high quality content around themes that are topical in digital marketing and analytics today. We strongly believe in what we’re doing, and we want to share that enthusiasm with you.

You can subscribe to the newsletter and enjoy the free content. That alone should help you keep up to speed on the tumultuous changes that are taking place in our industry. Then, if you’re looking to step up your game, you can enroll in the courses Simmer offers and experience our inimitable approach to online teaching first-hand.

YES! Of course!

You can subscribe at your own will, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

We will not add you to the newsletter without your explicit opt-in (you can opt-in when purchasing a course or via the forms found on this site).

We will not gate content behind the newsletter – all Simmer content is available with or without a subscription. There might be offers and discounts available only for subscribers, though.

We will not sell or distribute your information to other parties.

The mailing list is managed by ConvertKit, and you can review their terms here.

Do note that we also use ConvertKit to handle in-course emails, if such exist. These emails are sent as additional content for the course, and you can unsubscribe at any time (even though we really do recommend you don’t, as the content can enhance your learning quite a bit!).

We really, really, want to do a good and honest job with this, so please hold us accountable! If you ever feel like you are being wronged or that you have been added to some list that you absolutely want no part of, please let us know and we will do everything we can to fix this for you.
